"Every little jump starts a lifetime of confidence."

Mad’s Mats is AGTC’s playful preschool programme, designed to introduce young children to movement, balance and basic gymnastics skills in a supportive, confidence-building environment.

Through themed sessions, songs, soft equipment and simple skill stations, children learn coordination, body awareness and early motor skills — all while having fun!

Our experienced coaches help each child progress at their own pace and build a positive relationship with physical activity from the very beginning.

  • How many people per class?

We keep our preschool groups small to ensure children get the support they need. Tots sessions (18m–3y) allow parents to support their child directly, and Juniors (3–5y) run with a low coach-to-child ratio for safety and learning.

  • How do I pay?

Payments are processed through Sage each month.

If you have any issues with payments or need support, please contact our Treasurer at treasurer@aboynegc.co.uk.

  • What should my child wear?

Comfortable clothing such as shorts/leggings and a t-shirt or leotard. Bare feet are best.

Hair must be tied up and no jewellery, including earrings.

  • What happens if my child is shy or nervous?

This is completely normal. Our coaches are experienced in supporting young children who need time to settle. You can stay close during Tots sessions, and Juniors will be eased in gently at their own pace.

  • Can my child move up to Juniors early?

Children may move up when they are ready — this depends on age, confidence and independence. Coaches will discuss this with you if they feel it’s the right time.

  • Is there a waiting list?

Yes. We operate a waiting list for all classes due to high demand. Click Join the waiting list to register your interest.
